方向音痴ランド

Japanese have a word for people with no sense of direction — 方向音痴「hōkōonchi」. Literal translation is “to be tone-deaf when it comes to directions”. Quite poetic, don’t you think?

Inability to find one’s way and disorientation are unpleasant feelings, but, on the other hand, getting lost all the time may lead to interesting discoveries. 方向音痴ランド [hōkōonchi land] is a project offering to try on the hōkōonchi shoes. It is up to a viewer to decide whether it is an exciting adventure or a disturbing experience.
